Hillwalking is very popular in Ireland
My first experience was a "walk" to the three highest peaks in Ireland: Caher, Carrauntuohil and Beenkeragh!
On this page I'll bring more Hillwalking photographs as I will go to new places in the future - Hungry Hill (West Cork), Purple Mountain (Kerry), Brandon (Kerry, Dingle) ...

This is Carrauntuohil, the highest hill in Ireland (1039m).
The guy leaning on the cross is Jesus, a Spanish guy from the "Cork Mountaineers".

Brandon Mountain, Dingle, Ireland
Even on a very windy (Gale Force 9-10) and rainy day the Brandon Mountain and the valley running into Brandon Bay (north side of the peninsula) is a beautiful place. Don't you think? Hillwalking can be a little tough, though!

"After Walking"
After a 6-8 hours of hillwalking: A good meal, brilliant company, some pints, music and a couple of Irish songs!
When she started playing, everybody in the pub was singing along!

The Harp is the national intrument in Ireland!
The people in the pub got us a guitar and books with lyrics and chords!
Sorry you can't listen to the music! Mick had a great voice and a lot of songs - from the turn of the century (not the last one).
