Sigurt and I spent a 16 days holliday in Ireland in July 2001. We had a great time fishing and photographing.
Please forgive the dusty images due to internet cafe conditions.

At Cliffs of Moher, County Clare, we saw this pictoresque sundown
Pictures like that are sometime very easy to take. Sometimes very difficult.
For this I used a small tripod and the bracketing facilities on my Pentax Z1.
I took different shots, but I think this one is cool (Tokina Pro II 2.8/28-70mm).
Sigurt was sitting close to the edge before he.............
got back behind the fence!

The Burren is almost a stone dessert created by soil erosion caused by agriculture centuries ago.
This is the Slea Head Drive, Dingle - the part where it turns away from the coast and through the mountains.
Sigurt is shooting the Seagul from the car with a Pentax Zoom70AF-DATE. BTW, this is Slea Head Drive - the coastal route.
The seagull followed us arround the scenic drive/coastal route.
This is the shot he took with the Pentax Zoom70 DATE. Unfortunately the print was a little "light"
What should have been done is this: The dark background leads the camera towards overexposure. With a SLR camera, the solution would have been to expose 1-2 stop less (minus correction).
Slea Head Drive is a spectacular place - especielly if the weather is real nice.
