These are some snapshots from the city I live in right now - Cork, Ireland
Greetings to all my friends and colleagues back in old Danmark. These pictures are just snapshots from the everyday life in the Cork, Ireland.
I'll try to renew the pictures once in a while.

Above: Guitarman - from a cafe in the across the street, you often see this guy playing the guitar and singing Irish songs.
These are a few of my favorite photographs from my different travels. Feel free to browse them as you like. If you want one, click your right mouse button and choose "Save As" from the menu.

Right: North Main Street, Cork.
This was the mainstreet in midieval Cork, crossing the river Lee in the north and the south.
I live at the the Noth Gate in the northern end.
St.Patrick Street - the main shopping street in Cork.
Right now I am drawing some plans (or trying to) for the buildings to the left.
Above: The main shopping street: St. Patrick's Street
St. Patrick's Street was once a river. Cork means marh in gaelic. Cork was built on marsh islands in the middle of River Lee. Many af the streets orginally rivers. Some houses still have long stairs leading to the front door from the river/quay.
Above: One of many pedestrian streets between St. Patrick's Street and Oliver Plunkett Street
Above: Zeppelin - wasn't that a band?
Some buildings and shop fronts are very picturesque.

The Savoy building. Earlier a cinema, now a shopping centre.
Senior street musicians in Oliver Plunkett Street
I lost my heart to theese two musicians. They played really beautiful, classical music, especially the obo sounded brilliant. They must have been professionals before retirering. People sayn they both are about 80 years old. The harmonica player (perhaps her husband) seemed to be blind.
The picture on your right hand side is the sunset at River Lee i September.
